About
Jack is an Associate Financial Adviser at The Private Office based in London and covering areas such as Canterbury, Chelmsford and Winchester. As a Chartered Financial Planner, he acts as the first port of call for his clients, no matter how big the query. He aims to support his clients through their financial journeys and allow them to make informed decisions to meet their objectives. Often financial jargon can provide a barrier to understanding and Jack works to simplify the complex.
Jack’s experience covers a range of planning areas including inheritance tax planning, retirement advice and protection planning for a range of clients across London and the South East. His approach to financial planning starts with getting to know his client's unique situation in order to build a bespoke financial plan.
Having started his journey in financial services in 2017, Jack has previous experience working at a Kent-based firm of Independent Financial Advisers. Prior to becoming an Adviser, he spent a number of years in a technical role, which gave him strong foundations for providing comprehensive financial planning solutions.
Jack is a Chartered Financial Planner and has certificates in discretionary investment management and securities advice and dealing. He also holds an economics degree from the University of Bristol.
Outside of work, Jack is a keen football player and follower, and when not outside you can usually find him in the kitchen cooking.

Jack was very charming, charismatic, articulate and did an excellent job of explaining of what how our investments had fared, what options we had and even give us advice on where to find the best business accounts giving interest. He also followed up promptly with written information that gave detail about his verbal explanations. He is an asset to the firm.

Jack was very professional. He had an excellent grasp of the inheritance landscape, helping us to fully understand the pros and cons of various options. This enabled us to confidently plan ahead. Jack was very honest about his advice and did not push for particular services benefitial to himself. We had an excellent discussion, covered all our questions and more, and left the meeting with the opinion that Jack was a person we could definitely trust.
