TPO reflects on an award winning 2023
The Private Office, enjoyed an award winning 2023, by gaining recognition in multiple top industry awards - marking another successful year.
TPO was ranked 12th by FT Adviser in the Top 20 UK Advice Firms, rising 21 places since last year and named as one of the Top 50 'Best Large Companies' to work for in London and in Yorkshire & Humber, across all industries. TPO was also highlighted by its clients as a VouchedFor Top rated UK advice firm, for the 4th year in a row.
Alongside numerous other citations and awards, it has been another great year for the business, serving the growing financial advice requirement in the UK.
TPO has also continued its growth story throughout another challenging 12 months - recruiting people across the business and growing the assets it manages for clients to over £2 billion - bucking the UK wide trend.
CEO Stuart Phillips said “2023 has been a tough year for everyone in finance but The Private Office has definitely risen to the challenge and has gone from strength to strength."
We are delighted to have been recognised by these awards while growing our client numbers as well as the number of people we employ in our business. I'm particularly proud of our female colleagues as over 30 were shortlisted for the Women in Financial Advice Awards - 11 of which were finalists and three highly commended.
I’m very proud to say that The Private Office has continued recruiting and attracting talented people to the team around the whole of the UK. This includes expanding our Apprentice and Graduate recruitment, Financial Planning Executives and Paraplanners, giving opportunities to the younger people who are often neglected in this industry and equipping them with the skills for the future in a sector that is predicted to grow significantly as the UK financial advice gap widens even further.
The average age of our advisers is 35 compared to the industry average of 58! And five of our advisers were named in the top 35 Next Generation Advisers for 2023 - the only firm to have so many advisers listed.
Added to that over 32% are female compared to the market average of 16% - our diversity is our strength. This diversity allows us and clients versatility when it comes to finding the most appropriate working relationship and tackles the industry challenge of ageing advisers. And this has been reflected by having a bumper year for awards, which is a huge accolade.
